Premium Membership Day! (2014)

Wow, 
So here we are, 2014 and I'm finally updating my journal. It's a little trippy looking back at my journal from 2 years ago. 

I'm still at college buuuut I'm totally NOT studying nursing, ultrasound, or even massage therapy. Hahaha...

Yeah turns out my first two career/degree choices were way too difficult for me to get into, I just wasn't passionate about what I was studying like some of the other students so I decided to change my major. For a while I was completely depressed, I lost my scholarship and just felt like completely giving up. Finally I sought the guidances of a career counselor who made me do a lot of research. Going to Massage therapy school was out of question because it costs SO DAMN MUCH. Most of the careers I looked at really didn't need a degree but no matter. I did a lot of soul searching and went back to the basics. What am I good at (as far as school goes)? And what do I like doing? 

So I'm taking French, Art and Psychology classes and I'm 99% sure that I'm getting a cultural IDS degree. I want to also start volunteering at a non-kill animal shelter so that way I can see if working with animals is something that i'm really passionate about. 

As far as art goes, since I am taking art classes I've been doing a lot of work for them. I try to incorporate ideas that are personal and that I like but it's not always easy. Art I feel like will always be something for fun as opposed to a big income source.

Other than that, I'm pretty happy at my job at AMC Clearview Palace 12. 
Right now I'm making a lot of lists to plan for a camping trip with my dad, sister, brother, Florence, Celine, Cedric and Lecial.
